The first museum with ecclesiastical relics that operates in the wider area of Magnesia is located in Makrinitsa Square next to the Church of the Assumption.
Created at the initiative of the local Church, after four years of efforts, it is intended to be a highlight of local history and at the same time an attraction for visitors of all ages and students throughout the year.
The Museum occupies the two upper floors of the building, located in the central square of Makrinitsa, next to the church of St. John the Baptist, and is a stylish, modern Museum, highlighting in many ways the ecclesiastical history of many decades.
